In addition to pure level measurement of the product and/or interface layer, the TORRIX XTS offers the option of temperature measurement. The integrated LC display can be set to show the desired parameters.

Advantages

Extremely High Accuracy & Reliability: Provides precise, continuous, and repeatable measurements without being affected by process conditions like foam, pressure, vacuum, or density changes.

No Maintenance: Due to the lack of moving internal parts, these sensors are durable and require minimal maintenance, resulting in a long service life.

Versatile Applications: Capable of measuring both total level and interface levels between two liquids using specialized float designs.

High Safety Standards: Ideal for hazardous areas (petrochemical) as they are typically explosionproof.

Easy Installation & Flexible Design: Easily installed through topmounted tank orifices. They can handle extreme temperatures and pressures.

Dual Output: Capable of measuring multiple levels and temperature points simultaneously.

The secondary instrument of the Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter adopts standard outputsignal to easily process the signal for microcomputers, it is simply to realize online work and improve the automation degree of the whole measuring system. The Magnetostrictive Level transmitter consists of three parts: probe rod, circuit unit, and float When measuring, the circuitunit generates a current pulse and this pulse transmits downward along the magnetostrictive line and thus generates a ring-form magnetic field. The float is equipped probe rodout side and the float along the probe rod moves upward and downward with the change of the liquid level. Because a group of permanent magnets is mounted inside of the float, the float generates a magnetic field at the same time. When the current magnetic field encounters the float magnetic field, a “twisted” pulse, or called “Return” pulse will be generated. Convert the time difference between the “Return” pulse and current pulse into a pulse signal, and then calculate out the actual position of the float to accomplish the liquid level measurement.
