Series 40F level switches combine simple, proven & reliable construction with broad material compatibility and easy installation, at all low cost. Hermatically sealed reed switch contacts are actuated by permanent magnets bonded inside the Taflon, Polypropelene, Nylon or Stainless Steel float. Contacts Open/Close with up/down motion of floats. Switch Contacts normally close as float moves towards stem mounting threads, however this can be reversed easily by simply reversng orientation of the float on the stem. Changing from N.O. to N.C. Contacts in 10 Seconds or less.

The floats are equipped with Magnets and the Stem Pipe contains Hermatically Sealed Reed Switches whcih activate or deactivate when float comes in line with it. As the liquid level rises, the float due to Archimedes Principle also floats, thereby activating the Reed Switch, in turn activating the corresponding LED on the Electronic Controller. The setting of the floats are factory set and cannot be set in the field as the Reed Switches are sealed. The three floats are equally spaced over the full length of the Probe.
